For exclusive island events it would be Necker Island in the Caribbean and Yasawa Island in the Pacific

What is your funniest event or meeting planning experience

I always enjoy the Taste of New Zealand event in Huntington Beach California and in 2008 we held the VIP dinner in an Art Gallery where the kitchen and prep area were not in the same space so I imagine the local staff enjoyed the spectacle of the New Zealand chefs preparing a 10 course degustation menu alongside the kapa haka Maori entertainment group who were practicing for their performance.

Activities and Interests:

I play golf and as we are based in Australia and New Zealand I am lucky to be able to play on some of the best courses in the world all year round. I also enjoy travel which is handy in this industry as I attend a lot of trade events in the Asia Pacific region.

About Me:

I am a professional destination marketer with more than 8 years experience in promoting to the incentive market sector and have worked with Government tourism bodies at national, state and regional levels in the development and delivery of business tourism initiatives. I have over 15 years international tourism sales and marketing experience gained from promoting luxury hotels and through my role as General Manager of Business Tourism for a regional tourism organisation.
